Sounds Interesting. The exhibition in Hiroshima is already over though. I could not come to see the show but, I still can enjoy his concept. I could hear the report of the show from Prof. Tsuda in his contemporary art theory class for master degree students of Nagoya University of Arts. It already sounds interesting that Starling made a specialist of Noh mask make masks for his concept. Moreover, he chose one of classic Noh stories to refer to Nuclear issue and money and art issues. Choices of character are hilarious. James Bond, Enrico Fermi, Henry Moore, Joseph Herman Hirshhorn, Colonel Sanders, Atom Piece and so on.. He matches those characters to original classic characters of the Noh. Whole thing is well designed with historical mapping. It is also great that the classic Noh can be played by traditional Noh actors instantly because he only switched those masks.
